Amazon India Profit Calculator
Amazon's referral fee alone roughly doubles depending on your category and price band — this calculator uses your actual category's referral tier, plus closing fee, weight handling, GST, and COD/RTO drag, instead of a single flat percentage.

Product accounts for ₹1,43,075 of your monthly costs — the largest single category.
Reducing RTO from 12% to 7% could improve estimated monthly contribution profit by ₹12,983.
We model your full order funnel — cancellations, then RTO, then returns — before counting any revenue. Product cost, marketplace commission and GST are only charged on orders that actually sold through (Realized units); packaging and forward shipping are charged on everything you dispatch, including orders that come back. Contribution Profit excludes fixed overhead; Operating Profit includes it.

Amazon's own fee page presents the full closing-fee table (by price band, fulfilment channel, and category group) as images, not plain text, so this remains a representative value — re-verify against the live Seller Central fee preview before quoting a seller an exact number.

All figures are modeled estimates. Actual marketplace fees, GST treatment and shipping rates vary by seller agreement and change over time — verify against your own seller dashboard before making pricing decisions.
A ₹1,299 apparel item — just over Amazon's ₹1,000 zero-fee threshold, so the full category referral rate applies. Compare this to the same product on the Flipkart and Meesho calculators.

Why did changing categories change my referral fee so much?
Amazon's referral fee varies sharply by category and price band — from 0% on many items under ₹1,000 to over 20% on apparel above it. There's no single 'Amazon fee', which is exactly why this calculator asks for your real category instead of using one flat number.
Does this include FBA weight handling fees?
The closing fee default includes a representative FBA weight-handling component for sub-1kg shipments, sourced from Amazon's published fee card. Your actual weight-handling fee depends on package weight and fulfilment channel (FBA/Easy Ship/Self-Ship) — adjust the fixed fee field if your real number differs.
Why isn't there an FBA vs Easy Ship vs Self-Ship toggle?
We'd rather not model something we can't source accurately — there's no public, verified fee table splitting these three fulfilment modes category-by-category yet. The fixed-fee field is editable if you know your own number.
